Forgot to mention this. Today, I got an e-mail from SLDN (Servicemembers Legal Defense Network) that there has been a bill drafted to repeal DADT. I really, really hope it goes through! Um. Yeah. Apparently the heads of LJ, Inc. or whoever they are now/SUP either didn't learn the lesson 6A did about talking to the media/news before answering their angry users, or 6A decided not to tell them and let them find out on their own the next time someone screwed up.

You all know about your 'interests' (what LJ thinks means 'likes') -- well, apparently there's a database on LJ of the 'most popular interests' that they are censoring. Yes, they are actually removing popular interests from that list. The ones that are removed are kind of telling, too ( Read more... ) -

Article on CNN about how while the general public is more accepting of gay actors, the entertainment industry itself is still stuck in the 1950's.
